Upper St. Clair High School Team Wins Third Ranatra Fusca Award
The Odyssey of the Mind (OOTM) World Finals were held at the University
of Maryland from May 31st to June 3rd. Out of 800 teams who
participated, USC was one of 5 distinguished recipients of the
program's most prestigious award, the Ranatra Fusca Creativity Award.
In
unprecedented fashion, this is the 3rd time this season our USC High
School OOTM team earned the coveted Ranatra Fusca; at the Regional
tournament they were honored for exceptional artistic creativity while
at the State and World tournaments, engineering prowess was the element
touted as exceptional.

On Saturday, April 12th, five USC Odyssey of the Mind teams competed in the Pennsylvania State Finals. Congratulations to
all who represented USC with such pride and distinction.
Special
congratulations are extended to our High School Odyssey Team who
received the most prestigious Odyssey Award, the Ranatra Fusca (from
among over 200 teams). This honor is bestowed on those who demonstrate
exceptional creativity and qualifies the team for advancement to the
World Finals. This year the Worlds Championship will be held at the
University of Maryland, May 31st-June 3rd.
